I am very excited to share the news that I have officially become part of the Webflow Certified Partner Program.
I have been working with Webflow since 2020, and I am thrilled to now be part of this prestigious program. Being a Certified Webflow Partner opens doors to working with a variety of clients from small businesses and startups to larger companies and international teams.
In this post, I will share with you what the Certified Partner Program actually is, how the application process works, how long it takes to become a member, and the benefits it offers.
What is Webflow Certified Partner program?
Webflow recently introduced the new Certified Partner Program, which is essentially an enhanced and more formal version of what previously existed as the Webflow Experts program.
This program includes freelancers, designers, and agencies who have proven themselves as experts in working with Webflow. These are not beginners – they are professionals with strong portfolios and experience across various types of projects.
As someone who has become a Certified Partner, I can personally attest to the rigorous process it involves – a badge of honor that signifies trust and expertise within the Webflow community.
4 Partner Levels
- Certified Partner – Entry-level for professionals who meet the basic requirements.
- Premium Partner – Status for partners with a higher point total, proven quality, and consistent project delivery.
- Certified Partner Enterprise – Level for those who successfully work on enterprise projects and demonstrate strategic expertise.
- Premium Partner Enterprise – The highest level of recognition, combining top-tier quality with enterprise capabilities.

These statuses allow partners to grow within the program, gaining visibility, trust from potential clients, and access to new business opportunities directly provided by Webflow.
How to move-up in the program?
Until recently, advancement in the Partner Program was quite “closed” and mostly focused on the number of completed projects. Now, Webflow has introduced a new points-based system, similar to what airlines use for their status levels, but much simpler.

Project and Site plans
- Each time you build a site and the client activates a plan, you earn points.
- Points vary depending on the type of plan (Starter, CMS, Business, Enterprise) – the larger and more complex the site, the more points you earn.
- Points are recorded automatically, whether the site is hosted through your agency workspace or transferred to the client.
Add-ons and Additional Services
- If a client adds an E-commerce plan or add-ons (Analyze, Optimize, or Localization), this also earns you additional points.
- This rewards not only building the site but also helping to scale the client’s business.
Contributing to the Community and the Webflow Ecosystem (New Feature Coming Soon)
- Participation in alpha and beta testing programs, where partners test new features and provide feedback.
- Educational content and resources, such as creating tutorials, guides, blogs, and videos that help the Webflow community.
Benefits of the Certified Partner Program
It brings multiple benefits, not only for the partners themselves but also for their clients and for the Webflow platform as a whole.
For Partners:
- Higher credibility and visibility – you will be featured on their official Partner Program page, making it easier for clients to find you.
- Automatic commissions and points – simple tracking and rewarding for your projects.
- Access to exclusive resources – such as educational materials, documentation, and dedicated support channels.
- Opportunity to advance – the new points-based system clearly shows the path to higher partner levels.
- Marketing and PR opportunities – Webflow frequently highlights partner projects, case studies, and co-marketing activities.
- Invite to the Partner Slack group – you get access to discuss new updates, share insights, and connect with other partners.
For clients and businesses:
- Security and trust – clients know they are working with a qualified professional.
- Wider range of services – partners often offer additional integrations, add-ons, and site scaling thanks to their certification and experience.
For Webflow:
- Strengthening the community – partners create high-quality sites and resources that attract new users.
- Feedback – partners participate in beta/alpha testing and provide valuable input for improvements.
How to Become a Webflow Certified Partner?
To become a Certified Partner, more than basic platform knowledge is required. You are expected to have experience working on various projects, an advanced understanding of design, and the technical aspects of Webflow.
The process consists of 4 steps that lead to certification and recognition within the community.
If you do not meet any of the following requirements, you will not be able to become a Certified Partner:
- Passed Webflow exam
- Agency or Freelancer plan
- At least 3 client projects
- Portfolio website

Step 1: Basic Information
The first step is simply filling out basic information about yourself and your work. This includes:
- Full name
- Email associated with your Webflow account
- Are you working as a freelancer or an agency?
- Average project price
Step 2: Verification of Exam Completion and Workspace Plan
The second step requires verification that you have passed the Partner pre-qualification exam. If you haven’t done it yet, now is the perfect time to complete it.
- Be sure to use the same email associated with your Webflow account so the verification process goes smoothly.
- You also need to have at least an Agency or Freelancer Workspace plan, which allows the Partner Program to recognize your readiness to work with clients and manage projects.
-
Once these requirements are met, you can move on to the next step in the certification process.
Step 3: Presenting Your Portfolio and Social Media
The third step in the process requires you to share your portfolio and presence on social media.
- Focus on the platforms where you are most active and where clients can see the quality of your work.
- This additional trace of activity can increase your chances of joining the program, as the Webflow team sees how you present your work and how engaged you are.
Step 4: Submitting Links to Your Webflow Sites
In this final step, you need to share links to the sites you’ve built in Webflow. Links can be read-only links from Webflow or the live site URL (do not send webflow.io links, as they are likely not accepted).
In addition to the links, you will be asked some additional questions:
- How long have you been working with clients?
- Approximately how many clients do you work with per year?
- Submit client reviews (optional)
-
If you work through platforms like Fiverr or Upwork, be sure to include this information and provide proof – it can significantly increase your chances of joining the program.
Usually, Webflow takes about 1–2 weeks to review your application and let you know whether you’ve been accepted into the program. Sometimes it can be faster – for example, they got back to me in less than a day.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Conclusion
If you have solid experience with Webflow and working with clients, you probably won’t have any problems getting into the program. But if you’re a beginner, don’t be discouraged if you get rejected the first time – that’s completely normal. In that case, use it as an opportunity to work on yourself, improve your skills, and build your portfolio.
I remember myself a few years ago: I tried to join the program when I was just starting out and didn’t succeed. But now, after years of work and experience, I have successfully become a Partner. So, patience, effort, and continuous learning really pay off.
